US Charts Discussion

DWUW says hi, most relatable song and it's 3 major performances did nothing for it. Don't bring the video into this, the AMAs should have pushed it to the top 10. Along with SNL, and even The Voice performance with Xtina.

The video would have just been a luxury, and only really benefits WW and gaga isn't a streaming artist anymore

Yes because every song performed at the AMAs was pushed to top 10

(Only 2 songs did that out of 10 or ? and most of the songs had VIDEOS )

Second of all, If anything, DWUW is risky for Gaga because It's not a predictable dance song semi risky, semi experimental and semi commercial by Lady Gaga.

And the underlined part ................ BYE

How's DOPE going to make an album sell? It's an immediate turn-off for all soccermoms who might consider buying it for their children for christmas. It is too slow/boring for pop, too much d--gs and whiny voice for HAC/AC.

You do know 7 million people in the US watched a DOPE performance, yet almost none of them suddenly pre-ordered ARTPOP and/or DOPE?

I can't with these soccer mums seriously :lmao:  They are probably 10% of the potential buyers, let's not :toofunny:

At least DWUW outsold Judas and MTN :awkney:

As for her radio play, yeah she doesn't really have a single out right now. I have no idea what they're waiting for when it comes to releasing the 3rd single...

She really can't afford to wait any longer.

If Blurred Lines smashed and was played so much by radio then Sexxx Dreams will too, considering that BL is awful and Sexxx Dreams amazing.

I think they're planning out an era while Gaga is taking a break to rest and get less stressed :excited:

If you call me delusional for thinking that VENUS has way way way bigger chance than Gypsy of flopping, then you need (Jesus) Wiktionary !

Blurred Lines is one of the biggest cross-over radio hits of all time though, it did great on Top 40, Urban, Urban AC, Rhythmic, Rhythmic AC, Hot AC, AC.

Say Something had the music video released the previous day. Also DWUW rised a lot, actually more than 12 places, it wasn't just that obvious because the song had and a second version.

Let's be honest. The holidays boosts are mostly soccer moms buying something for their teens while the iTunes boost a few days after is thanks to the iTunes giftcards their soccer moms gave them :awkney:

Maybe Sexxx Dreams can too. Even half of that would be good.

Blurred Lines smashed cause it was performed by a white male. When Madonna released the original Blurred Lines in 2008 it didn't even make top 40

And at that time everybody was saying that videos had no effect on songs anymore and used Unconditionally as their receipt :manicure:
