Yes, and that was her first VMA. :toofunny:  At the right time everything can happen. Gaga needs to find a good supporter like MTV.

nnn

But globally the album didn't have that longevity, it was "only" 2 weeks #1 in the UK, one week in Germany and three weeks in France, which is their home country.

but look the album was 99 days at number 1 on kworb ...  PRISM was 11 days, ARTPOP was 14 days and even 1D's album was less days at number 1..

I get what you mean, but I am sure that PRISM didn't have more longevity nor sales than Daft Punk,  and Get Lucky was just as big as Roar WW  ..  It's just a bit weird in my opinion that even Michael Bubble is higher than Daft Punk :toofunny:

Am I the only one who thinks that Miley is the major reason they didn't allow Gaga's performance? They wanted Miley to steal the show, and they wanted Gaga to be 'the loser' of the show.

Well not the loser but it's obviously strategic to put her first with a toned down show. They know what she can pull off on the stage.

if they have an agreement to push Miley it's obviously not good to have someone that is known for good shows going full out.

Mark my words. Miley Cyrus is winning most VMAs next year, and the awardshow will be rigged against Gaga like the EMAs 2012.

Good, a few spots more and she can push her 3rd single.
