Like having a boyfriend yet keep saying how **** he is, wouldn't it be time then to move on? haha.

That's a good a--logy. Fans have an experience of falling in love with their fave, and remain loyal even as that spark fades. And go on about what artist needs to do to recover that spark.

This phenomena becomes more obvious with artists who've had a 15-25 year career.

Whispering

These are some albums that had big increases and then big decreases during black friday last year:

13 07 11 P!nk, The Truth About Love 38,976 -66% 114,019 740,909

14 08 07 Jason Aldean, Night Train 37,455 -64% 103,364 825,859

19 13 24 Justin Bieber, Believe 28,797 -59% 70,154 1,104,559

21 12 31 Carrie Underwood, Blown Away 26,442 -64% 73,679 1,036,358

Pink sold 114k during black friday which is basically what Gaga sold and then she did 39k the week after. It's normal for albums to have a big drop after black Friday and then they steadily rise up until Christmas.

These are numbers to keep in mind, especially Pink's and Jason Aldean's numbers. Both were CDs that saw big increases due to special discounts at the big retailers on Black Friday. Pink and Aldean's CDs never made it back into the top 10 during the rest of the Christmas season.

I'd like to know that, too. I'm not familiar with these kind of things. Anyone?

it's not but really DWUW was released a month ago, early November. So it hasn't been 2 months.

Ok I think pages of jhony and Americano talk we enough I shouldn't have mentioned them. :rip:

This thread is not boring. It's relaxed and everyone contributing is at peace. Tbh I don't miss the meltdowns. So stop with wanting them back, they're banned for a reason because they chose to disrespect the rules the mods set up. If they disagreed with the rules they were free to post elsewhere, yet they pressed on and got themselves banned.

Even if some of us shared their opinions we didn't get banned. Why? Because we toed the line. Something they could do.

White update for DWUW.

Xfactor song finally number 1 :smh:

StarryNight

They shouldn't have been banned, they were generally harmless. And the meltdowns weren't as bad as the start of the ARTPOP era. We've all gotten much better.

Actually, most of the btw era was more negative. Over time it's just getting really strict here tbh.

I don't even post as much as I used to because I don't want to offend the mods (not so much the posters since they don't get personally upset). And tbh, the times I've been WPed, it's been from the same mods. Some mods here are really nice, but some are kinda power hungry.

:applause:

Jhonny's gone, too?! :(

Well, who's gonna pray over the charts and call everything "flop" now? :(

Don't worry about the prayers, he is praying in Gaga Daily

Can someone answer me this please, I'm still new here so forgive me for asking. I see often "fans" on this site being extremely sarcastic about the artist that they are stanning. I signed up here cause I thought I'd be in touch with more people that love what Gaga does and the thing she stands for but even here a few are quite negative and harsh which makes me wonder why they'd want to hang out here anyway.

That's why said people were banned

Saying "ARTPOP isn't doing as well as it should be" or "DWUW is underperforming" is definitely permitted. Negative opinions and especially pointing out negative facts is permitted.

Constant b---hiness and exaggeration over her charting isn't permitted like responding to others saying things like "well at least she had impact lol" or saying a red update is a disaster.

Or even just saying she is a flop in general. Smh
