  This is good, Black Friday helped, now we just have to worry about 4th week sales....  :troll:

It's a shame Katy still outsold Gaga, who the hell is still buying prism?  :classy:

Oh god, did you see the Madonna "Knock knock" video that was posted there a while ago too? It's actually hilarious

Nope! Do you have a link?!

The album was released in a great time of year to where the holiday season alone will give it longevity. I personally disagree with the choice to make DWUW the second single. If we can top ten it, I say rush out a 3rd single like the arguable MANiCURE. The GP already love it and it's different from the rest of the album. Why not at this point?

And I did my part, I bought 11 albums separately from various retailers, online, in store, from her website. I'm exhausted lol

Yep. Born This Way, ARTPOP and MDNA have the biggest drops in history.

Yet when it happened to Madonna the press made a huge deal of it, and now with Lady GaGa everyone reports that it's a "common thing". Biased media is disgusting.

Are you serious? The media has torn ARTPOP's sales apart. Even debut week.

Hopefully you all do know only multiple transactions work for sales...like if you buy 15 copies in one go its just one sale not 15.....

Really? I just remember Billboard's article about such a drop being "normal". I I get most of my news from here and I guess positive news gets posted more.

The media dragged Gaga all over for debuting at #1. She gets the most **** out of all pop girls.

Billboard wouldn't shade her for a #1 album.

Other sites did. Pretty badly.

Billboard don't really post much negative stuff and they generally stan for Gaga and talk about her allot. Other sites/papers though. The album was called a flop by almost everyone, they all compared it to btw sales and many of them reported those made up PR cost rumors as true.

It was always gonna happen, she was never gonna sell as much as btw and it's no longer fashionable to be positive about Gaga, we are all meant to like Katy Perry and Miley now :/

Even when it happened to Gaga in 2011, a big deal was made out if it too(along with the 99c deal), so the only "biased" reporting is you seeing what you want to see.

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

First it don't come close to BTW and MDNA's record setting drops.

Second, big drops are becoming more normal in the digital era. That's what happens when people preorder it on itunes for 2 months rather than waiting for a convenient time to go to the record story. First weeks get frontloaded.
