Leaf 2,429
'NLMG' is one of the best songs on the album. Comparblae to Adele's 'Someone Like You'. 'Spectrum' like 'Cosmic Love' is a fan fave and hugly overrated. I disliked 'WTWGM' when I first heard it but it was turned up really loud and coupled with the video... Now it's one of my faves. The past two weeks I have been in full force stan mode for Florence  Why did I wait so long to listen to this amazing music  New fan.
Princess Zelda 726
Cosmic Love is not overrated, it deserves the attention it gets. Now Spectrum... Well . Spectrum is cool but it's not nearly as good as Cosmic Love.
Leaf 2,429
Well, 'Cosmic Love' is overrated by fans, imo. I haven't been listening to much Flo. I need new music.
Princess Zelda 726
It isn't. There's really no overrated songs on Lungs. Ceremonials is the one that's not only only overrated as a whole but some of its songs alone are too.
LadyLemon 0
Never Let Me Go is one of my favourites from the album. For some random reason, when I heard the chorus, I started crying. And I never cry listening to songs, even when I heard Born This Way I didn't become that emotional. I don't know what went over me!

LadyLemon 0
Gurl you sayin any of the songs on BTW is more emotional than any of the songs on Ceremonials? Well...I thought Born This Way the song would make me emotional that I'd cry, but I didn't. Then I listened to a song that I hadn't been waiting for and then I just started crying. Ceremonials is much more emotional than Born This Way.

Well I've never really cried to any Gaga songs, besides Hair and maybe a few others :flop2:. And yep, that's it. It wouldn't really make sense to make a very emotional pop album . True true, but some pop songs have such meaningful lyrics that it's hard to be emotional when listening to them. :hehe:

Yeah, some . Some on the album are emotional but most aren't. I think that's a good balance :).
steven1992 1
I think there's something quite poignant about 'Never Let Me Go', I find it very hard to describe! It almost is a too good song to be a song. It also reminds me of a song that would tie in with a film as a soundtrack (Like the Virginia Woolf biopic!) Princess Zelda 726
I'm going to listen to Never Let Me Go right now because at the moment I might relate to it a lot more. Maybe I'll love it .
LadyLemon 0
I think there's something quite poignant about 'Never Let Me Go', I find it very hard to describe! It almost is a too good song to be a song. It also reminds me of a song that would tie in with a film as a soundtrack (Like the Virginia Woolf biopic!) Of course it would have that sense of poignance! It is called "Never Let Me Go" after all! It triggers this feeling of missing someone or longing for someone, well it does to me anyway. So whenever I hear that song, I think of the person who I've been waiting for, and then I just become so depressed. :toofunny: Edited January 21, 2012 by lime
