i think it gets too repetitive with an extra post-chorus. the song is perfect the way it is on the album to me :D

spectrum is out of this world. absolutely bone-chilling.

guys! i think i want my senior quote to be the spectrum's chorus (or SIO's).

if i am going with spectrum, i want to make sure i have it 100% correct.

is it "say my my name AS, or IN or AND"?

"Say my name ___ every color it illuminates.

We are shining, and we will never be afraid again."

I think she says "and" in the prechorus and then "as" in the chorus so you could use either

Spectrum is amazing - the chorus makes me shiver. It was actually Spectrum that made me need this album. Very good choice for a senior quote!

And crazystairs827 is right: 'and' for the spoken pre-chorus, 'as' for the full blown chorus. Personally I think 'as' is nicer, makes me sing the chorus in my head. :)

thanks, guys :D yea my quote will either be that or "I like to keep my issues drawn, and it's always darkest before the dawn" OR "and it's hard to dance with a devil on your back, so shake it out."

which do you think is the best?! I can't decide :( lol

What's a senior quote?

Idk what it means wherever she is from, but here it's like a statement put in the front page of the yearbook relating to your Senior class :creepflop:

The latter. I think the real lyric is "issues strong."

first of all, i'm a boy. :toofloppy: do i look like a girl in my picture or something?? <_<

and in the US, everyone senior in school (12th grade) gets to put a quote under their picture in the yearbook.

The latter. I think the real lyric is "issues strong."

ok, everyone says it's strong, but if you listen really carefully (especially in the acoustic version), i'm almost positive she's singing drawn. aaaaalmost positive. i like it better that way anyway :rose:
