ShuichiAmy 0
I do feel she has improved! But I dunno, maybe I'm meant to remain shocked by the time I saw DDAO's video, and she was like this whole new voice style in my life! I have never mentioned stopping being a fan. I have never mentioned disliking this album either, so please don't judge me! D: I'm just talking about feelings and sensations. Something about Ceremonials isn't killing me as much as Lungs killed me. And I dunno why. I don't listen to shallow music, I don't really like it, I always look for thoughtful and profound in music, and though I can find it in Ceremonials, something isn't shaking my ground as it should. Maybe because it's too soon? I dunno. I remember Lungs didn't AUTOMATICALLY kill me.
crazystairs827 21
Yep. It's the perfect album opener. The first three songs Yes! The album opens so strongly! Only if For a Night, Shake It Out, and What the Water Gave Me are amazing. I thought lungs had some really strong points but had a few songs that just didn't fit and were too slow and lacked much emotion for me to get into Edited November 1, 2011 by crazystairs827
ShuichiAmy 0
There are some odd arrangements in the chorus, but besides that is such a nice performance! <3 Edited November 1, 2011 by ShuichiAmy

notsniw 1
According to her interviews, she started off with something more electronic and then decided to lean towards organic sound. Initially, she wanted to experiment with people who did Bleeding Love, but she felt it's too early to move away from Lungs. She wants to explore Lungs and work on one sound that is in the vein of Cosmic Love and Blinding and take it further. crazystairs827 21
what about never let me go??? O______________O I like that one but its a little on the slow side to be in my top 5 :P According to her interviews, she started off with something more electronic and then decided to lean towards organic sound. She wants to explore Lungs and work on one sound that is in the vein of Cosmic Love and Blinding and take it further. Yeah I heard the producer of Cosmic Love produced this whole album, or something like that. But I could see both Cosmic Love and Blinding as inspiration for some songs on ceremonials. Mitch 0
After a week of careful consideration and contemplation I have decided it is my second favourite album ever. (Nothing will ever beat the near-perfection that is A Rush of Blood to the Head) My friend and I LOVED Lungs and we said after leaving her concert last year that we were worried that she wouldn't she be able to top it. She has slayed Lungs. There are so many amazing sounds on Ceremonials and is one of the most cohesive albums that I've ever listened to. Shake It Out still slays, and is joined by All This and Heaven Too, Never Let Me Go and Heartlines. I am a massive fan of Gaga, Coldplay as well as Adele and I loved BTW, MX and 21 this year. But Flo has completely destroyed them with this. Album of the Year for me. :legend: Edited November 1, 2011 by mitch323

Now it's hard to listen to it because Ceremonials made it look like a mellow walk down to the supermarket in comparison. Definitely my AOTY.
DMTT 160
i really don't see the issue with breaking down. the chorus sounds like a swarm of wasps--fricken awesome.
Princess Zelda 726
Lungs is still ****ing amazing, but it sounds kind of simple compared to Ceremonials.

Princess Zelda 726
Listening to Between Two Lungs . One of my favorites ever by Flo or by anyone at all. It's so beautiful .
alposnacks 1
Landscape is amazing. And it's only a demo  She could have put it in as a regular track and I wouldn't have suspected anything. The production is more low-key but the song is extremely solid.

Swim Deep 0
I have fat fingers and as a result on my deluxe digipack, the slip with the booklet inside is totally arched over on both sides because of me getting it out and it's really annoying me. I've wedged it in my collection now in hopes it will flatten out :toofloppy: I'm also a little dissapointed that it wasn't scented [ ] + that the booklet only had unreadable scribbles and no lyrics :( Despite this scheisse, the album shoot + the music is fllaawwwlesss....
