DMTT 160
I disagree so badly. The falling scene was the best part and it actually didn't seem fake. And as already stated in the last page, the video has a great meaning . ok, i understand difference of opinion, but that is NOT how you fall off a building. and you can't sing/move your arms like that at such a velocity either. i didn't say it wasn't meaningful--i'm just lost at how they're both related lol

LittleDudeNT5 0
*I'm pretty sure the video portrays the idea of entrapment of dogmatic religion, regardless of being portrayed as good or evil. The use of a voodoo in the video is what causes her to fall from the great height and through the stained glass to be entangled once again in some other form of religion (presumable Catholicism). I think the video is basically showing that there is no "light" or salvation in any religious practice. * Hmm...interesting interpretation :) Say all you like but that video was Florence's best. The direction, the cinematography, just...unf, everything. It was great. Not perfect, a few things irked me, but otherwise it was stellar. Not to mention Flo looked absolutely great in it. I think a few cuts and things irked me. I think the running scenes could have been in it more. The first half of the video was totally whack and I had no idea what was going on. :haha: But It started to go much better later. A lot of people are talking about the falling scene. I have to say it looked great. But the fact that she was singing while falling was a bit weird. I think maybe I'm being overly critical - but it didn't seem that great to me. Not to mention she was falling for FAR too long But alls good. I loved it :)

Logos 0
I feel the same way. NLNL was my initial favorite because it's the easiest to get into, but it fell pretty hard in my rankings because it's so obvious. Still an amazing song though. "Obvious" is a great way of putting it. I do think it is a wise single choice, precisely because it is so accessible. I'm very much in love with all the religious symbolism in the album, I'd love for her to keep with the theme, for the entire era. Princess Zelda 720
Why don't people like the falling scene? I think it's the best. And the fact that she's singing and moving in the air is amazing for my eyes, it's so epic. Especially when she sings that long note as she's falling and then goes through the glass. That's my favorite part. I love her  She has to announce more dates for the Ceremonials Tour in Europe. PLEASE! I'm still waiting for 'Barcelona - April 23rd' to appear . Leaf 2,429
NL, NL is an amazing video. I hope she continues using similar themes this era. When she fell through the church ceiling I actually got chills. @_____@ There is a huge debate about the video on YouTube. People making negative remarks and the religious and racial imagery... I can't.

DMTT 160
I didn't like it because it looked fake and unrealistic how se was mo if her hands and such and that's not how glass breaks--that was terrible. besides that I really loved the video
