1. Applause - August 19, 2013

Applause.jpg

Let's face it, Applause was a perfect choice for 1st single. It was catchy, and everyone wants to be applauded and liked and cheered for. And if the release had gone as planned she would have had MV, radio deal, and fan hype all in the same week. This would have gave good first week sales and less flop talk from the media

2. Do What U Want - October 27, 2013

With a debut performance at UK X Factor and the fan hype the single could have had a top 3 debut in the UK. Plus with a performance at the YouTube Awards and an ad on YouTube videos like they did for Dope, it could have had a Top 5 debut in the US.

3. Gypsy - January 13, 2014

With a crossover performance at NYE and the Grammys of DWUW+Gypsy (Acoustic) it would have plenty of buzz before and around a radio add date. Surefire hit if handled this way

4. Jewels N' Drugs (Urban) - March 10, 2014

Lady-Gaga-Jewels-Drugs.jpg

Some extra exposure for the album and maybe a top 20 hit. Good chance of being an urban hit with all those rappers

5. MANiCURE - May 19, 2014

Lady+GaGa+-+MANiCURE.png

MANiCURE sounds like a summer hit. It's catchy, easy to sing, and anthemic, all the factors for a hit. Plus it would get that teenybopper girl support. Another Surefire hit if handled right

6. G.U.Y. - September 1, 2014

lady-gaga-guy-official-cover-artwork.jpg

With a performance at the VMAs, it would get a good start with GP buzz. Good sized hit. Plus it's intro is totally Gaga

7. Venus - November 10, 2014

An easily recognizable Gaga song. The amazing chorus and "Uranus, don't you know my a$$ is famous" is plenty to generate some interest in the song and a the album. Could be a big hit, if not it would probably still get a great video and great performances.

Woo, I'm done

My list of "requirements"

after those 6 years, I think it's time to :

- leave behind the aggressive, headache-making basses a la Judas or GUY (make it leave quick and firmly Gags, it will hurt less that way...)

- tone down the drums and go towards a light, synthy+energetic way

- get back to deeper, darker voice and themes (in sense of it being sadder, not dark like Alejandro MV or perfume ad for God's sake !) - melody don't have to be dark though (f.e. BR and Monster)

- abandon the "Fame" theme, it got really old and boring

- emotions (it feels very empty listening to ARTPOP as a whole, unfortunately)

Other than that :

- maybe mix it with real instruments like piano or violins, harps etc...

- maybe some kind of chill out disco, disco never gets old, and maybe some 90's

- don't be affraid to sing about love, songs like BN are totally ok

- don't be affraid to sit with an approved songwriter and rework some demo's lyrics

- bring back Fernando

- PLAN, PLAN, PLAN AHEAD

- and also simple yet stunning ideas, good creative team and management but that's the other story, not music...

not hard to tell I'm still in love with TFM - but after Brooklyn Nights (post-BTW track) leaked, I guess She's still also :)

if she stays in heavy EDM, I think she'll be doomed

Something '****-in-your-pants' dark. EDM, TRAP, heavier beats, music. Seizure-inducing and crazier productions.
Wild. Wild. Wild.

I just want to hear more raw, dance-infectious tracks.

A combination of tracks that have:

-the s-xiness of "Sexxx Dreams"
-the "rawness" of "Swine"
-the production/song format/chorus of "Aura"
-rapid tempo like Twista's verse on "J'nD"

I love "ARTPOP".

I'm hoping ACT II will be something reminiscent of ACT I, yet still stand on it's own as a "genre"; progressive.

with a whole lot of dark. and hooks. lots of mind-numbing hooks.
