Benji 20,113
Now before anyone runs in on their high horses, hear me out. She's singing about losing her only friends to her addiction when in reality, her marijuana usage was largely around her friends who also smoked it with her. Monster Vision #7 "The Adventures of Mary Jane Holland!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LB1gT-pKrsM Now clearly the song is about marijuana but I actually think Gaga is perhaps singing about her previous c-----e addiction? I don't know, discuss! Keep it nice though people, it's a thought not a statement.
mucinex 4,260
i always assumed it was about ALL her insecurities and things she regrets, as she calls them the same thing, a word that most ppl i hope understand, rick rubin worked with her for the track, and he's a genius, so i'm sure whatever it is, it's something clever
Memo 176
I think it's about all her addictions, drinking, smoking, weed and all the other d--gs she did back in TF/TFM era and maybe even in BTW era
DeleteMyAccount 11,881
Maybe we'll find out in the documentary. Otherwise I don't think discussing it will get anywhere considering it's all thought and assumptions. Imagine others discussing this about you behind your back. Altair 2,000
I feel like she didn't even write the song. To me it seems as though she doesn't like it much. I feel like she originally wrote "I wanna be with you" and she loved it but her record label or something didn't think the idea of a song about her fans would sell as much as a song about a person and d--gs so they completely changed the song and now she hates it. Keep in mind that this Is what I think and don't give me any negative backlash on my thoughts. K bye.

She's always been open about her d--g use, there's no harm in discussing it. If anything she'd want awareness over silence.

Antichrist 9,818
I'll never understand how one is addicted to weed. Though I'm pretty sure this is based on all of her addictions and fears, simply put as the word 'dope'.

Tropico 4,145
Yes. But the weed addicts don't wanna admit that it is because everyone likes to glamourize it. It was written specifically about her weed addiction in 2012 and that's why she put it write next to MJH. To tell a story in like 8 minutes about her life from 2012 - 2013. It was stated in multiple magazines last year and Gaga was only vocal about weed. It is about purely weed. We all know she went a bit off during her weed era and it is a sincere apology to us. :emo: Maybe one day she'll make a song called Coke. "I need you more than COKE!" :hehe: ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
