lol. we are talking about 2 years difference. tv didnt change that much in the last 2 years.

Yes, tv really has changed that much in two years. Due to the fact that more people in the states have DVRs or are watching shows on Demand or online, the average ratings numbers have dropped significantly.

The only classification of shows that is holding up is sports, due to the fact that viewers still prefer to watch games live.

Everything else is falling off a cliff.

Also, two years ago, black Friday deals started on Friday morning, not on Thursday night at 6:00 or 8:00. All of the best deals were last night, not today. Tens of thousands of people in every city in America were standing in line or out shopping last night, not watching TV.

I've been following TV ratings for years and thats pretty bad! I heard she beated Glee and X Factor. If true than it isnt a complete disaster.

Compared to A Very Gaga Thanksgiving :

1.6 rating in demo 18-49 vs 0.9 rating in demo 18-49 :ohno:

Viewers : 5.5m vs 3.6m :ohno:

If you have been following TV ratings for years, you would know that ratings across the board are dropping significantly every year due to multiple ways of viewing tv and due to the fact that most viewers record to watch later and many watch online.

Whispering

Ye I feel like the songs that are in the top 10 at the beginning of December, will stay there whole month until January. That's how it usually goes.

No, it doesn't go that way. Last year, four of the five songs in the top 11-20 with strong bullets moved into the top 10.

Some moved up around 5-10 spots and a couple of songs moved up more than that.

The CHR chart does not stop moving during December. Songs will move out of the top 10 and will be replaced with other songs that are moving up.
