She could make something really controversial but on the other side, she could look so damn try hard next to the 15 minutes star of the moment (Miley). She could just make a simple performance but on the other side, be totally forgotten in the competition. I think Gaga need to balance something more mature, showcasing her abilities with mostly singing, not too much gimmick, but include a surprise element. That way, it's fresh and different for Gaga, yet it does not look too try hard and "I need attention please". But more : "Look how talented I am, and I still got surprises for you". I agree if the video is good AMAs should be enough anyway, but the video doesnt even have a date for w/e reason Oh yeah The Voice, but the finale is in December, so there's still a chance she's doing that next month when holidays effect is there and when the more people are watching The Voice than now. But really, she could've at least done X Factor Aus, that one German awardshow ( ), a French talkshow, performance and radio interviews and a performance in Japan. Dance Music/Europop is made to do well in Europe, but she just doesn't bother this should be the continent where Gaga's slaying, but she isn't at all. She is the talk of the moment, exactly like Gaga was few years ago. And since she drew so much controversy with the VMAs, something we haven't seen since, well, Gaga meat dress, the comparison with Gaga low sale figure and Miley at the top of her game clearly disadvantage Gaga.
