MikeyMoonShine 0 Posted November 22, 2013 Share Posted November 22, 2013 your are right abou the edge of glory tho maybe Gypsy will perform well, radios wouldn't have a reason NOT to play it, it has a nice vibe, nice vocals, maybe it could work, the thing is, if DWUW doesn't at leats get to 100m AI then the rest of the era's singles will be compromised, i was so certain that DWUW would at least top applause's radio peak, now i'm like, will it even get to 100m AI I know a few people found the i'm.i'm,i'm a gypsy gypsy ect but and the bit where she lists the countries she has been annoying. I dunno tbh it's very europop so I could imagine it doing well in some countries, The edge of Glory went for a sound that was very popular in america in it's day. Gypsy does that a bit but not as much, but then have heard many people including non monsters say that they like Gypsy better than TEOG so dunno. :/ Yeah I am just hoping the video helps. I think the Appluse video did help Applause and allot of people have watched it now so I just hope that and the AMA's can make it a smash. You are right though if it flops then it will be very hard to make Gypsy or any other song from ARTPOP a hit, at least not for a while anyway.
