leoj 2 Posted November 20, 2013 Share Posted November 20, 2013 I remember..... a year and a half ago.... lady gaga was bringing back music videos with her epic videos.... and her out of this world performances..... now katy perry and rihanna are stepping all over her.... in every way including both album sales/single sales/videos/radio... and I won't even stop at performance quality... because lately katy and rihanna have been doing some 180 type performances compared to when they started..... what the **** happened lady gaga? Clearly shes been making plenty of mistakes these past few years Clearly, she has made plenty of good decisions as well. Gaga is still a WW presence and still has a #1 album in the 3 major markets, something Miley and Katy failed to do. At the top of their hype arc, Katy's and Miley's opening numbers are 70% behind what Gaga did at the top of hers. If Gaga makes you so miserable, with all of her artistic and creative choices, why continue to stan her for so many years? There are other pop artists that would be much easier to stan for at the current time. Be forewarned though, their next eras could easily come tumbling down around them and then you will have to switch again to the next "it artist". Loud outside BTW by 50% in UK, TD outsold BTW in US. They both won MTV VOTY.Gaga could easily turn it around (ARTPOP longevity, DWUW > Uncon).
