Another sleeper hit this year, which reminds me of Wake Me Up's earlier chart performance. How coincidental that the third singles from the past two albums of OneRepublic are the ones which became their top 10 hits. They're among the rare examples of having bigger non-lead single hits. Of course not as much as some ballad or a huge dance hit like Poker Face etc.. but It's better for album sales than songs like Applause, Where have you been, Selena's latest single etc.. And to be a featured artist with these stars from the 2010s decade is a good way to re-introduce himself to the young generation. It's been almost a decade since he got a top 10 hit. And what an honor for Gaga to be the one who'd eventually give him his first top 10 hit since 2004. A career revival? Oh, I didn't know he had an upcoming album Ok, that explains it.
