Allison M 357
i just want Gaga to beat Katy because we always say that Gaga is mostly an albums artist and Katy is mostly a singles artist. If we don't beat Katy in album sales what do we have other than Grammys but overall i don't really care because the only ones who focus on this stuff are the stans
BoomMonster 4
guys 32% retailers is not 32% of actual sales :D maybe the main retailer reported (iTunes for example) and now there are smallest left like Walmart, Best Buy, other CD shops etc. but yeah I hope for 300k (which is very unlikely)

Lorde has 4.2k and she was #3 for a whole week. Edited November 18, 2013 by Optimus
Rich Kid 0
If it's 32% doesn't that mean that it's 180/0.68 = 302 So the actual figure is probably around 302,000? Do not trust my maths but this was my first thought, and i did something like this in my Maths exam last week so please let it be right

KING5KAT 223
No. 32% of the retailers reported. It obviously includes iTunes and I think this is mainly digital. I predict ~250,000 final. Well usually the sales of albums are 20% digital and 80% physical so if it IS only iTunes and Amazon I reckon she could pull in 400,000+ easily in the US. Do not trust my maths but this was my first thought, and i did something like this in my Maths exam last week so please let it be right no :) we have the number of retailers reported. for example assume that: Retailer A sold 179k Retailer B sold 50k Retailer C sold 244k Total sold: 473k Retailer A reported its sales, which means that 1 out of 3 retailers reported, thus 33% reported. But as you can see, 179/423=37.8% which shows that these are 2 completely different percentages and figures. No, they are not. :) 60% physical, 40% digital, that's a big difference.

But seriously, coming off our super era Gaga debuted over a million. Coming off our worst era, we're debuting in line with Katy. Problem?
