Sure the music is still great, but in the pop fan world there's a lot of noise about how an artist is doing whether that artist wants it or not then stop going to a site that makes you feel the need to brag about the sales of a pop star. Madonna is in a different league, she's a legend, people pay to see her because she's Madonna and her status not because of her music, or else the MDNA tour would have flopped. Gaga has not achieved that legendary status yet, so sales numbers do matter for her. Her fans alone cannot fill up arenas and stadiums, so if the casual fans don't like her enough to buy her albums/singles, then for her, it'll translate into weak tours.
