K as long as gypsy is the 3rd single I don't have any **** to give about the rest of the era, I'll be happy with anything. But please gypsy.

Interscope told Billboard in a recent article that Gaga is in full creative control of single selection.

Hmmm that's odd, Gaga recently said that she didn't really have a say in choosing Applause as the first single but that she agreed with Interscope's choice.

She said she played it to her team and that was what they came to, so yeah, she probably just took their advice. The Billboard article was in response to Venus being dropped as the second single in favor for DWUW, so if she didn't have a say during the Applause decision, she does now.

Aura and ARTPOP would flop with the GP. You have to realize that most people buying the album today are Little Monsters and the GP will follow shortly. It was hardly marked in their calendars that they HAVE to buy it today. It's still early afternoon in the USA.  :nails:

Here's the article:

"Dennis Dennehy, head of artist strategy and media for Interscope Records, tells Billboard. "Gaga has complete creative control over single picks, and she read what immediately happened -- the immediate feedback we got on the song -- and got with us, and reacted accordingly. It was as simple as that." Gaga made the call early on Tuesday, says Dennehy"

I really don't think Gypsy should be the next single. I think G.U.Y. or Aura would be good choices. And I'm still thinking Venus too? I think that ARTPOP is an album track and should stay that way.

Fans will be buying the album as a whole and not singular songs, so I don't think this is true. And also, it's unlikely Aura would be the fans most popular song considering it's the first one we heard from ARTPOP, and it's probably the one we're most used to, after Applause.
