It will when people stop requesting songs like Wrecking Ball and Roar. Gaga had better be back to save pop music again, as had been quoted, or I'll quit listening to the radio. By the time Roar would further decline to a point it'd be nearer to Applause in terms of audience impressions on overall radio, most radio stations would probably have already focused on playing the respective second singles of KP and LG, which are Unconditionally and DWUW. In other words, it's close to impossible for Applause to surpass Roar on overall radio spins because both are expected anyway to bow down for their follow-up singles in the coming weeks.
