I think she was talking about how she wanted to see the dark side of life so she could have a more full view of the world, a wider perspective, which would allow her to be more creative. Yeah... and I thought she eluded to the fact that d--g usage helped her find the creativity she sought. Marijuana is a great plant bestowed upon us and has had such a bad rep ... Seems like she is over exaggerating. Though it is a rare phenomenon to become physiologically addicted to cannabis, many users become psychologically addicted. Which IMO is much harder to break. Her life is extremely stressful and I don't think she has the personality to be able to handle everything she has to deal with. She is too much of a perfectionist. There is definitely potential to get addicted, i'm not trying to deny that, but it is less addictive than other d--gs.
