Miel 15,009
Punk-rocker is also a certain lifestyle and a music style which Gaga doesn't represent. I wouldn't doubt that was the kind of life that she lived before (Pink Floyd cover bands, her raging d--g days, and waitress power ranger era). It could have stuck with her, as well. 3 points in and ready for more
Jesse Pinkman 4,660
Yep. And she does like a lot of heavy metal bands so I can't blame her for this statement. People like to ignore that aspect of Gaga tbh.. It's science, bitch

MonsterLuv 7
Gaga listens to a lot of punk rocker bands and her style is sometimes punk rocker. She's not completely wrong in her statement when she refers to herself as such. Just because she makes pop music doesn't mean she can't view herself like that. I agree with you to some extent. She does certainly adopt looks that are stereotypically punk. But just because you listen to punk music or sometimes dress "punk"does not make you a "punk rocker." I listen to punk sometimes, and I can assure you that I am definitely not a punk rocker in the least. Punk rock is steeped in counter-culturalism. Rebelling against the mainstream. Fighting the system. Raging against the Machine. Gaga embraces all of the above.

Dunk96 2,526
How an artist like Justin Timberlake gets praised for being a copy of MJ is beyond me. No doubt Gaga's just going to get hated on just cuz she's Gaga. *Justin Bieber, not Timberlake. There's a biiigg difference between homage and inspiration over just plain copying.
