"I think playing into the gossip of the tabloids and, I guess the fodder of the competition, that’s just not what I’m about."

"I've basically been hoping that I would become so good that one day I would piss off Madonna!"

"Punk rocker from NY"

"Where do I say I'm a gay icon? ... I'm a gay supporter."

OMG does this mean BTW is dead? :ohno:

lets see what  Madonna does now. somehow gaga always takes the high road even tho u'd think Madonna would since she isn't young anymore and she is "experienced" or whatever.

EDIT: i mean like Mature. but madonna is immature. ok yeah

BTW may sound like EY, but it's not a rip-off. Gaga didn't need to plagiarize anybody to slay with any of her other singles. The melodies may sound like one another at times and the chord progression is the same, but that's it.

Half the thread focusing on one comment she made about herself acting like we fully knew her when we didn't. :toofunny:

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

I'm not sure why people are getting hung up on her calling herself that. She might make pop music, but her background is heavily influenced by rock. Queen, David Bowie, Semi Precious Weapons, Luc Carl, Lady Starlight, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and more. Punk and rock form a significant slice of her musical inspiration along with jazz and pop.

Exactly, even the way she used to dress, she wore studded leather with iron maiden t shirts :smh:
