Longetivity isn't about having promo spread out and having low first week sales. Having lots of buzz, hype and promo first-week is so much more effective than having the promo spread out over 3 weeks. What makes an era have longetivity isn't the promo, promo is more effective week 1 than week 8 anyways. The only things that give an era good longetivity is if singles are slaying or when a re-release happens.

well, yeah, I get what you mean, but in order to have a successful singles, we need performances - AMAs, Ellen, SNL etc.. It's still needed!

I want Gaga to take a big break, and a real break (not working on an album etc.. during her break)  but  she cannot just disappear after an underperformance ... It'd be great If ARTPOP has at least 1-2 huge hits (maybe DWUW and Gypsy) or 1 huge hit and then ARTPOP re release or Act 2 with another huge hit, and then I want her to take 1-2 years off without working on music etc.. I mean she can still write songs but just because she loves to, not for an album etc..  There Is something wrong In the whole picture right now ... she seems like she has no Idea what she wants to do, what road she wants to take etc..  :X Her splitting with Troy Is another thing ... the underperformance / decline ...   Maybe after she sings In space, then she can take a huge break ... I think It will be for the best .. then she can return with Superbowl or something like that ..  Actually It will be great ... after she sings In Space (everyone will watch her)  and then 1-2 years later Lady Gaga's come back + SUPERBOWL It be great because everyone will want to watch her perform again

This break Is totally different and It was after her era that damaged her Image the most ...  Actually Gaga would've been doing way better If she released last year In my opinion ..  She obviously needs a break ...  as you can see she Is a bit of a mess :(

Well if TFM did that than I'm not really worried about ARTPOP lol. And I'm sure we will sell more than Prism in the long run too. I don't expect the second week sales drop to be big either.

I laugh at people who said it got low sell bcoz ARTPOP is not good enough   . It just, GP lost interest at her + she's got so many hater from another stan base & media.

it's not urban enough. throwback sounding music doesn't sell well to the demographic unless the person has a background in R&B/hip-hop.

Also I can see how this era is just a mess I know she wants to make commercial music into art, but I feel like she needs to risk it and put it all on the line and go for it a hundred percent or don't do it at all instead of floating in the middle like she is now because it's really not good for her image.

Jewels N' Drugs on the other hand... If 23 featuring Miley Cyrus could do okay Jewels N' Drugs would do okay on urban radio. Plus the fact that TI and other rap legends are in it.
