Fizzy 2,198
So Katy is the OPENING ACT OF AMAs. :O I want GAGA to release the video on 25th NOVEMBER after AMAs happen on SUNDAY so that she can potentially see a rise in sales and streaming of whole week for a better position on Hot 100. “The scars on my mind are on Replay”
Essence 202
A very smart post. And very true. If 440K of BTWs sales were the amazon deal, she would have had a huge debut anyway, but no where near that much. Even if she debuts at 250K, and has solid sales, it's not bad by Industry standards. She is in and around the exact same as the other pop stars. yeah, it really isn't that bad. Considering Miley was the most talked about person in pop and Katy came off of such a huge era, Gaga is on the same level as her contemporaries. mwjuell91 217
Yeah earlier this year I read an article on a tech site about how digital sales reached a new low or something. I mean first the physical sales went to the dogs and now it's the digital versions as well? The music industry needs to fully embrace streaming even more than it does now! Yes, its a transit phase right now, and it is hard to be releasing music during such times. The solution will come sooner or later, and I think peoples persception of Gaga havent changed as much as it might seem. Its not a long way from: "I love and Im buying her album!" to "aww Gaga I love her yeah, ill check her new music out one day" and these people are the ones that might stream her album, and not BUY it. So it seems like they are "out of the equation" but they aren't, they just need to be embedded in how we measure, distribute and listen to music. Fizzy 2,198
Lol. She will have 6 days of streaming. She wont miss the top 10. :( Let's hope for the worst (for Katy ) “The scars on my mind are on Replay”

RitaOral 1,322
I never thought I said this but now iam really starting to hate the btw era for all the damage it did. Dont be insecure if your heart is pure, your still good to me if your a bad kid baby Maybe if she spent less time focusing on being "mother monster" and more time on everyone else she wouldn't have alienated 90% of the population

Bt1 5,213
:( Let's hope for the worst (for Katy ) Why? Especially if it wont happen. Unconditionally is almost top 10 on radio, so the song doesnt even need a real sales effect to go top 10. It would be enough with the streaming. Doot 2
yeah, it really isn't that bad. Considering Miley was the most talked about person in pop and Katy came off of such a huge era, Gaga is on the same level as her contemporaries. People act like her selling 250K means her career is over. Get a ****ing grip. If people honestly expected her to have a huge ass #1 album everytime, they are delusional. Every star has one, this is hers, and probably not her last. You should be here for the music. You can blame everything else you want, but the reality of the situation, is that if you let her sales numbers rule your life, you wont be on this fanbase as long as you think. I hope she has three bad albums in a row simply so that the twats can leave.

Pure Adrenaline 1,518
No. Hate the lack of promo. Many things went well during BTW, it was the single choices and 1 particular videos that ruined parts of that era. many things>?...... the gurl was called acused for loving satan, she was banned from touring, all people who knew who Madonna is called Gaga a copycat and the radio didn't know which song to play cuz she released 3 singles in less than a 2 months and by the end of the year no one curred about her artistic **** anymore and then she decided to make 20 minutes music video and then go to a black out for the next year It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely
