Look at The Fame: it went on selling more than 4 million copies without a huge debut nor big weeks of sales. The album itself will prove its longevity. People in general were absolutely not hungry for it anymore after one year of "building up" hype. She should have stayed silent about it and come back with a surprising bang in August.
