And the positive updates on radio should have helped also. From the way I see it, Applause hasn't yet reach its full potential on radio due to its slow yet steady climb, a complete contrast to the other songs from her contemporaries. As they start to decline, Applause still manages to get more AI. The advantage of a grower. We could finally see if Adele does have staying power, and if she could still sell like she used to, especially at this time when we have Lorde topping the charts and The Monster becoming a monster hit.
