NotherClub365 84
I feel like a big part of this may have been his overcommitment, and the fact that, as one of the biggest pop stars in the world, she needs a full time manager, not someone who is also trying to start a tech empire. This seems like a pattern, because Laurieann started to have problems with Gaga after she had launched two tv shows and was trying to work with other artists at the same time. And same goes for Nicola running Mugler. I feel like she doesn't want people in the Haus who can't devote their full attention to the work, although some of these relationships have obviously ended on better terms than others... mikenyc 0
I think the only thing we can only really takeaway is that if Gaga is firing her manager, she is unhappy with some aspect of the status quo. I don't think that her unhappiness will translate positively for the launch of ARTPOP, although I will try to be optimistic.

Probably why Zedd and Madeon had few songs on ARTPOP too, since DJWS was with her full time and had more time with her  he gave her his time and all. ChvVolk 2,031
So many of you talking bad about the situation when in reality we're in the dark about it all. WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. It's all hearsay. Wasn't troy talking about the app a few days ago and about longevity? Didn't Justin's manager tweet a picture with Troy a few months ago talking about what Troy has said about app? We just gotta wait and see if anything is confirmed, until then, I don't think it's good to just go on and say "it's all her fault"/"it's all his fault"
Mills 446
I'm shocked to see this news on Billboard. I really do hope that this report isn't true, especially days before the release of ARTPOP. It doesn't send a good message at all.
Illuminati Freak 2,432
Everyone is being totally over dramatic as usual. Pointing fingers and slagging off GaGa. I mean really seriously get a life none of you have any clue what the hell is going on in her professional life. And even if it is true Troy is gone there is the fact that Vincent Herbert is still managing her as well so the GaGa machine is still in full force and completely in good hands. Probably one of the best posts in this thread. I agree. On 11/7/2013 at 2:44 PM, PokerFist said: I'm shocked to see this news on Billboard. I initially thought it was just Perez trying to cause trouble but I'm more and more coming to the conclusion that it's true.
mikenyc 0
In case there was any doubt about this, the New York Times is now reporting it as true. I think that pretty much seals the deal. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/06/business/media/lady-gaga-said-to-fire-her-manager.html?_r=

If you read further, they have the same non-sources as everyone else. Also, this was posted earlier in the thread. But the silence does become louder... If it's true, I'm sure it was for the best and with a mutual agreement. Days before an album release does not seem mutual to me. If true, this seems to be something major if she couldn't work with him until at least the hype of her next album dies down.
