Your example about downloading isn't really applicable here, since downloading is legal in my country  I get what you mean, but I do know what crosses a line and what doesn't

Downloading music or movies without paying for it is not infringing any copyright in your country? It's hard for me to believe, but if you say so I won't doubt it. You might know what crosses a line. But my point is: Many people, not only children and teenagers, don't know it because of all the reasons I listed in my previous post. I just want to make sure we don't judge other to hastily.

I am going to write the same thing I responded to another user:

I can see why you say this, but can't agree with you. Of course we all know stealing a candy gets us in trouble. Every child knows it, and most of them won't do it out of fear of getting caught. And yet, besides knowing how to behave in society, children (and adults as well...) do stupid things on the internet. Why, you might ask. It's simple: They grow up with the internet, that's true. But they also grow up experiencing safety from the internet. Sure, their parents probably tell them to not give their adress to strangers, but that's about it. What they learn is pretty much: "I am anonymous when I use the internet. My actions have no consequences. I can go to chat A and insult user B. Nothing will happen to me in real life. I can go to forum C and threaten to kill User D. Nothing will happen to me in real life." This kind of experience has an effect on them. They lose their sense of what is right or wrong when they're on the internet. The false safety makes them do stupid things.

Did you ever hear the saying: "Opportunity makes the thief"? Whenever humans feel safe and unwatched, whenever they don't fear any consequences, they do things thay would otherwise never do. Did you ever download something from the internet illegaly? If yes, why? Because you felt safe, isn't it? If you got caught, others would say the same thing you said about these kids to you: "You are old enough to know you can't steal music or movies on the internet."

That has nothing to do with the post I quoted you on.  You made a claim about children, I have met this person, he is NOT a child.   He definitely knew of the possible consequences for his actions based on a girl who was punished for her Tweet.  Knowing the consequences, he chose to do this.  Notice, he CHOSE to do this.  His choice, his responsibility, his fault.  If he doesn't like it; tough ****, tbh.

And in my post I make it clear that children are not the only ones who do such things. Your post that quoted me did not imply that you know that person and his intentions. Hence my reply. If it is true, though, and this person knew what would happen to him and chose to do it solely to get some attention, he deserves to face conseqeunces. Even though I still don't like the idea of people going to jail over something like this, no matter the circumstances.

A tweet isn't a crime, but when it's threatening to that caliber then it can be, because it's a major false alarm :wtf: Why must people go above and beyond to be ridiculous with their jokes? :smh: Joking about terrorism isn't funny :spin:

Honestly they're probably seeing all the attention and internet fame that the first b---h got and are copying her hoping to get zillions of news articles written about them too. Fucking media needs to stop glorifying criminals. Let the little s--ts spend their night in jail to scare them and send them back home.

My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <3
