Juanjo 2,234
I have to agree with a lot of the points in the OP. BTWs biggest mistakes were single choices. This was Gaga's most daring and defining album, and it feels like all her team wanted to do is play it safe. BTW, Schieße, Hair, and Marry The Night should have been the singles, and the tour should have started earlier. ARTPOP, same thing, single choices. I love Applause, but she should have kick-started with GUY or Aura, followed by Venus, MANiCURE, and Gyspy. Many negative things in this era were out of her control, however. I hope she can still save it. I have faith that GUY will pick up speed in the following weeks.

MelbHawker 6,583
I disagree. Most of the factors you've stated as being reasons as to why she wasn't #1 everywhere are completely false/trivial. Do you really think music buyers care if she split with her manager? Just an example. To stans, they may seem like reasons. IMO - her 'lack of success' (a term which is horsesh*t when associated with Gaga it angers me so much) comes down to a lack of coherence/flow between her releases - what she releases is never on-trend and it's always so different; however it's what has established her an artist and not just a Pop Singer. She polarises her audience. She doesn't need massive promotion for her music to catch on. She's Lady Gaga - she's more scrutinised than all of her contemporaries put together. Plus.. the expectation the media and people have on her - it's like they think she's capable of resurrecting Jesus. You either like her or you don't I guess. Thanks.I don't even critiscise everything Gaga does. I am a huge stan so I can have a good view of her career. Its important to see our mistakes so that we can improve. Don't even dare to talk me like that spoiled brat. If you don't know how to express your opinion kindly talk to someone else of your own level of stupidity. Thank you. ReRe 1,957
This thread is GOLD. :trootea: That was an excellent comparison. The TEOG video was also a mistake, sorry to say. So was BTW. I mean, a freaky ass video for a song about empowerment?

All of these are not connected directly with the public. The manager for example didn't affect the public but if Gaga's team was cohesive she wouldn't have done mistakes like the ones you mentioned above. In my opinion everything was just wrong handling, choices and management. I didn't even make that to say something negative, I just don't like when people blame the music when its obvious that the mistakes were somewhere else. GagaSlayedYou 2
Lack of coherence is the biggest problem for both.

BTW single choices were also good in my opinion except from You And I. Sheisse was no single material in any possible way. Anyway the problems where mainly because of management and not single choices.

My post didn't have any grammatical errors or any spelling mistakes. I guarantee that my IQ is higher than yours so please do not say that I'm stupid. Stop focusing on the negatives of her career. I just try to notice them so they can be avoided in the future. It's not even negative, like everyone makes mistakes. When something is going wrong you face the problems, you don't avoid them. If you knew me you would know that I am one of the most positive members in here. Anyway I couldn't care of the IQ of someone that doesn't know how to kind and civilized. You are the only negative in here.

Not all these trivial decisions her management make. The decisions sell the brand though and we are talking about huge decisions here, don't focus just on the manager. Its obvious that these last two Era's Gagas team has done one mistake after the other. Both eras are heavily damaged.
