GagaDragon 10
That would just come across as extremely desperate so no i don't want her to tarnish her reputation just to appease some perennial whinging fans.

Saint Laurent 4,862
Let's be honest for once: I think you should shut the **** up and stop criticising everything gaga does. Thanks.
Dann 354
No. The Born This Way music was a lot better, ARTPOP is just a let down and i didn't realize it until now.
LaLuna 12,732
Puss in Butts?? Never heard of that movie. Is it p0rn? People do tend to look back fondly on the BTW era now because ARTPOP is underperforming, but let's face it, while it had great moments, most of it was a mess, and not because of the music. The way I see it, the "decline" (for lack of a better word) started with the release of Judas. Interscope probably thought that this song would be like Bad Romance 2.0 (let's not kid ourselves, I love Judas but it's basically the same as BR) and that they had a bona fide hit on their hands. BTW (the single) may have been slightly controversial because of the Madonna comparisons, but even then it did manage to remain at #1 for 6 consecutive weeks and it helped the album sell over 1 million copies its first week out, so... I don't mean to be a "little manager" here, but maybe, JUST maybe, things would've been better if they had released MTN or even TEOG as a second single. And also, all the promo singles didn't help, that's for damn sure. But yeah, bottom line is, the music is definitely not to blame, bad decisions are. RAMROD 109,795
Don't blame Katy for ARTPOP ARTPOP are way more unrelatable than BTW, by miles. And that is where the problems laid. It might be received well by fans, who connects with her way of thinking. But outside this circles, not everyone bother to decipher all the symbols that she sings. I prefer she write challenging music that her fans like than generic music that simply generates radio hits. That seems to be a minority opinion around here where Gagas commercial success is apparently the most important factor.

lastlinefirst 1
omg who cares Yes...so tired of people coming up with theories every day. It's no one's fault, the gp just favor hearing the same kind of bland pop song and a lot of them don't want to listen to anything different that challenges the norm.
