Tropico 4,145 Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 ARTPOP is a loud (in a good way), fun, party anthem album (the majority) and when I listen to Jewels N Drugs it just totally ruins the vibe of the first 4 tracks. And the fact that gaga ut it right next to Sexxx Dreams and before MANiCURE makes it look like trash tbh. I don't like it. The rappers don't even emphasise the meaning of the song while as Gaga's verse and chorus is very clear and fun. I don't think she should play around in that genT.I. Is okay and kinda good but the other 2 rappers are a flop. It was over produced as well with too many complications between artists and lyrics which only adds to the reasons to not like the track. It is the ONLY track on ARTPOP I don't like. Sorry Gaga but really it fails to impress . Tozis 269 Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 Jewels N' Drugs is one of the Gaga's tracks that I like less, I don't hide it, in fact I skip it almost every time, but I don't "hate" it just because it has been inserted in ARTPOP, also because different people like it. However, if I had to choose, I'd have preferred that Brooklyn Nights had taken its place, is light years ahead of Jewels N' Drugs (which isn't really "ARTPOP" to me), as far as I'm concerned.
