Gagz 2,580
I wish Gaga would release as many singles as Rihanna.
DontDoubtDavid 1,194
Haley is such a good sport. Love this speech! Gaga can take criticism. How many times do you think she's been rejected when she was working her way to the top? There's no way that she got where she is today without being treated pretty harshly, but she bounced back. She was dropped from her label, and she never gave up. On the Monster Ball DVD, she talks about being told that she was "too ethnic, or too theatre." The problem is not necessarily criticism itself, but the barrage of hate sent her way, and the amount of pure disrespect and intolerance she has to endure. That's not criticism, it's cruelty. But she's unfortunately going to have to get through this. I kinda-sorta get her message, but do you think people are really going to listen? If anything, it might even get worse. The song DWUW is about ignoring the negativity, but I see her acting very hypocritical lately, and it's sad to see.
CookieHWilson 685
I am sorry, but I really do not get it. What does "take notes Gags" is supposed to mean? I don't get it nonsequitur
Masaki 71
It seems like some fans think that if her singles aren't as successful as Bad Romance or Poker Face she's flopping LOL. People need to get over their selves. Also, I still don't see how people think Gypsy would do better than Venus. Gypsy is to Marry The Night as Venus is to like... maybe a lesser successful Bad Romance. But still damn good in my book. Yet again, everybody has a right to their own opinion. I'm just surprised. 8D
tokyodisko 0
ReductZedd tbh although it sounds so good with Gaga's vocals tbh, with this woman it sounds like basic with a good instrumental lol She actually has some really great songs, but this was a mess. lol Check out Boom, You and I, and Rain. The video for Allison is also pretty good.
MikeGoneGaga 86
Who cares if Donatella is better than Anjulie's song and that Zedd didn't break any copyright laws by recycling one of his own productions? The fact remains that he should've created new material for Gaga (well, there's G.U.Y., but still), and I'm surprised she let this happen. I want Zedd out of the picture for the next album tbh. Unless...of course, Gaga went through his stuff and said she wanted it, so he re-purposed it for her. Kinda like how there's the striking similarity between Born this way/Express Yourself. Or that this was done for Eh Eh...or that Government Hooker was a scrapped old beat. Or that Bad Romance and Judas follow pretty much the exact same pattern (which would in turn make that unoriginal as well). Jus' sayin'. Cause if that's the case, you need to rule out Kierszenbaum, Gaga, Laursen, Garibay, DJWS, RedOne, Blair, & DJ Snake as producers.

This Gaga's been criticized her entire career, and when you're one of the most famous pop stars in the world, criticism is par for the course. But there's only so much hate and disrespect a person can take, and that's what Gaga is fed up with.
djBuffoon 12,174
Also, I genuinely don't get how people think Venus is unrelatable yet her past songs (for example, Bad Romance) are. They both have interesting (some would say 'weird') lyrics in the verses, but then the choruses are just catchy pop love song choruses. "I want your love and I want your revenge," "When you touch me I die, just a little inside." This relatability thing is another silly pop trope people use to bash recent!Gaga that they never applied to past!Gaga. This!
GypsyPrince 237
Like, literally NOTHING in that stupid post is constructive. Don't expect Gaga to be completely cool with some random tard with probably zero experience in the music industry trying to act like he runs the show. Buddy 5,686
As corny as it sounds, I just want Gaga to follow her heart. As long as she's doing that she's the most successful person, in my opinion.
EdgeofTeeth 1,934
I'm not gonna tell Gaga what to do as long as she's doing what she wants creatively with what she's creating and making.

Haroon 49,685
Hmm I'm not really sure how to feel about this I agree that maybe she should let more people in, but then again, this whole depression and sad moment thing has been happening because she felt betrayed by people she let in - so it makes sense if she's not doing it anymore (or at least for now) The bad stuff about Venus made me want to cry a little bit
Adakam 2
Why having people help you is needed when it comes to art? To executing everything around it, yes, she needs help. It's good to have creative people around you to keep getting new ideas. But when it comes to creating art, if she feels like she doesn't need any help, why would she keep asking for it? I don't understand. She's fully capable of creating a hit song all by herself, she's on the right track with Venus. She has said many times shes still an Art student, thats why the ART in ARTPOP is more focused on the things shes done with Wilson, Marina and Koons, (im shocked by how people are ignoring her louvre exhibition, it should be considered one of her greatest achievements ever tbh) but yeah she is growing, she is learning a lot of performance art, and tbh her production in Venus is great, one producer friend even told me it was one of the best productions in the album
