XoXoJoanneGaga 629
First of all it was coproduced by Madeon so i guess he "cleaned it" Second who are we to judge song production? Are you maybe Professional Producer so you can distinguish bad and good? Madeon is only 19, he's very talented but he's not a professional pop producer. This was his first major record How are we, as listeners, unfit to judge a song's production? If the production is messy, it's messy. That doesn't mean it's bad, it just means it's not going to be picked up by radio. I like the song a lot, but if she wanted to release it as a single she should have compromised a bit and gotten a professional producer to clean up the production, and she should have written a new bridge

And trust me when isntrumental comes you will see its not messy
Mary Pain 0
Yes, she needs the criticism, but she doesn't need the bashing (which was the tone of 90% of the reviews for this album)
Allan 3,931
I was thinking about this Gaga x Media thing and thought that she should start f*cking up with them too. So, inspired by Marilyn Manson (who wrote f*ck you on his face so the paparazzis would not publish his candids), I imagined this concept for a suit, which she would wear at a red carpet attendance. It would be black with f*ck you written all over it, but in a kind of material that when looking with naked eye, the letters would appear black, not noticeable, but it would become noticeable with the cameras, when paparazzis take the picture with flash. News/gossip sites would be really pissed off because as the letters' color react with flash, paparazzi's pictures would not be published and would be full of f*ck you all over the suit, while Gaga would appear wearing only a beautiful black suit in fan pictures without flash. It's just a derogative people throw around because they don't like something. If you went to Gaga and said "you need to fix Venus, it's messy" she, or any of her producers, wouldn't have a clue what you think needed changed. "Messy" is not critique. If Madeon is not qualified to judge if he produces something "correctly", then we certainly aren't. In truth the only one who knows if he met goals for his own productions is Madeon himself. You can call something he does "messy", and he can disagree, and he'll be correct because he was the artist and his opinion is what matters. You are free to call anything you want "messy", but it's by your own opinions and ideas. There is no objective standard here.
Dodo 313
Can people just stop assuming that she needs to have a hit all the time? People look at MTN as such a crash to her career, nnnn. Guys. Everybody flops, everybody. Here are some of the most successful artists of this generation and their flops, Rihanna: If It's Lovin' That You Want We Ride Wait Your Turn Rockstar 101 Raining Men Fly You Da One California King Bed ... And a lot more. Beyonce: Party Dance for you 1+1 Countdown Broken Hearted Girl Work it Out Flaws and All Ego ... And a lot more. Can we just let gaga release what she wants? I prefer her to release more risky material just for the hell of it and for the fans. Her work will be A LOT more appreciated in the future if she released more risky material. Amazing song, now imagine if she released some sh*tty mainstream song and it flopped. At least we appreciate it now cause its actually a good song.
