I stopped reading after the grammar got too unbearable.:smh:

This person clearly doesn't know what they're talking about.

Shane is in that state now too,now all he does is ****ing parody musicvideos. Back then I remember laughing at Shane's funny sketch stuff but now he lost his mind with the music parodies. Not to mention his own music, you're a youtuber, not a disney star who's trying to sing. A little part of what he says makes sense but the other I don't agree with.

Please correct me if I make any grammar mistakes, I want to master English as much as possible.

im sorry but i kinda disagree with shane, as much as i like him. Sure, venus is a little messy here and there, but i think its still an amazingly produced song considering SHE produced it. I mean can you imagine if katy perry produced a song herself....  :pukey:

Who gives a flying f** k if you agree with not so positive things relating to gaga. You have your own heart your own mind.

You're a free b***h.

She'll have hits and misses that differ to every fan. You're not wrong for having an opinion

"it's not experimental it's just deliberately odd and unrelateable and uninteresting"

 That is so not true and even if it is for that person, it's only an opinion ffs.

As for "she's under the impression that having help is a bad thing"; she's collaborating with artists she wants to collaborate with, so I think she does know who she needs (and wants) to learn from.

She probably never had as many interesting collaborations as this time, so your point is ridiculous, irrelevant and based on nothing.

You said it. It bothers me when people who aren't in the room assume Gaga doesn't accept criticism just because of what other people who ALSO aren't in the room have said about her. It's a myth that's been treated like fact for months now.

Also, I genuinely don't get how people think Venus is unrelatable yet her past songs (for example, Bad Romance) are. They both have interesting (some would say 'weird') lyrics in the verses, but then the choruses are just catchy pop love song choruses. "I want your love and I want your revenge," "When you touch me I die, just a little inside." This relatability thing is another silly pop trope people use to bash recent!Gaga that they never applied to past!Gaga.

I don't agree with Shane at all... Venus production is actually great.  People can't find the difference between production and too many words over the production (Hair and now Venus) ... when Hair Instrumental came out everyone **** themselves, while months ago all were saying how overproduced Hair was. . .

That's not even really "criticism".

What I read in that isn't very helpful in my opinion.

It's just saying how it's "not radio-friendly" or "sounds like other music"

Constructive criticism would be saying that stuff, then adding on how it can be fixed/ made better.

She needs critics, we all do. Not that kind.

But there is constructive criticism, song that are relatable and artistic at the same time are liked more than songs about yourself. That's why songs such as alejandro were hits, obvious personal but written in a way that you could replace the name alejandro with someone you felt the same about!

Kermit the frog

Why having people help you is needed when it comes to art? To executing everything around it, yes, she needs help. It's good to have creative people around you to keep getting new ideas. But when it comes to creating art, if she feels like she doesn't need any help, why would she keep asking for it? I don't understand.

She's fully capable of creating a hit song all by herself, she's on the right track with Venus.

They play Firework because BTW is much more controversial. BTW was a much bigger hit than Just Dance WW.

This. And I certainly believe that "Born This Way" will outlast "Firework" in the end. In my opinion, at least, it is a far better song.
