Mythos 3,199
I actually have a strong feeling that MANiCURE will be the telephone continuation. I personally love the song. It's fun, catchy and different imo. That could be possible, and it's the only song i can imagine as telephone continuation. And i love her energy when she performs it. Daredevil 2,133
Gaga released ARTPOP for us! She wasn't ready for it, for the media and all the ****. I think Gaga couldn't let the fans wait anymore so she released the album, even if she wasn't ready for it
Sister 9,907
She does have to play by Interscope's wants, I'll leave it at that. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
tristessa 0
Have you forgotten who Gaga is? Iconic line from The Monster Ball: ^That's when I knew not to take her or anything she says too seriously. I mean, c'mon. This is a girl who from the start has said "I'm not real, I'm theater." It's one of things that originally, and continues to intrigue me about her. I think that's a way to look at it and I totally agree, because it's something that's always intrigued me too and is probably one of the most interesting parts of her persona, but I think when it comes to purely practical matters, like the release of a video, you can't really pin it on theater - if something is not true it's just not true, and though I'm not one to lose it over those kinds of things, I don't think it's wrong to call her out on it, of course without badgering or anything. But I know what you mean. To the point above, she's obviously notorious for over-hyping things, but I too think it was a mix of her just genuinely feeling that way with not wanting to dampen the album experience for everyone, especially in its first stages - but when things continued to dissolve with her management along with the album not performing to expectations, etc. she felt the need to apologize for the things that went wrong and explain herself. So in a sense it may be lying, but I think she's usually well-intentioned (even if that's not an excuse). At the end of the day she's not necessarily obligated to tell us anything if she doesn't want to. I very much agree though that we really don't need to know all the stuff going on behind the scenes, it has a tendency to sidetrack us from the music itself, but I guess at this point it's better than just pretending everything's fine when it's obviously not. :P

Miel 15,009
I find Donatella hard to enjoy. The rest of the album, including its ups and downs, is fairly enjoyable. 3 points in and ready for more

Addy Ezzie 2
I'll say Jewels & Drugs, even though I don't hate it. I love the "Jewels N' Drugs, play that hustle..." but that's it.
