I wish she worked with at least one female rapper (Nicki, Iggy, Angel Haze, even Azealia are all better than the three guys on the song...) and that the production wasn't so obnoxious. I usually skip it ... On a more positive note, Venus is possibly my favourite. It's a close tie with Sexxx Dreams. They're both amazing intergalactic s-xlove bops and they give me LIFE. I understand that she could've lied not to make us worry but how am I supposed to believe anything she says now? I looked up to her, now I cant even be bothered to watch her interviews cuz it's either all lies and contradictions or senseless babbling. Sad :( Don't you think that maybe you take all this way too seriously? She has actually no reason and obligation to tell us about this behind the scenes stuff at all but she still chooses to do that. She's a popstar to me, not my mother, that everything should collapse when we find out that maybe something she has told us before turns out to be a lie. And the fact that she's the one who is actually begging for forgiveness after her own fans have emotionally beat her, is just sad. And now when she saw everything going downhill she decided to tell us everything just the way it actually is and then we just start calling her a liar... the woman can't win and it's all because her relationship with her fans is maybe even too close. She actually needs to let everyone know who the artist is and who the fan is. Fans aren't working at a record label, or performing on stage for a reason. So yeah, I don't like our "believing her ot not believing her" behaviour at all, it's just not our business what's going on BTS. In the beginning, I became a fan of her because I sensed something great within her artistry. If you became a fan of her for her honesty, then, yeah, it makes sense that you would feel crushed in a way, but she is where she is because of contracts and similar things. It's more evident now that it's ever been, she keeps exposing herself over and over. Don't you feel fooled when you experience gaga's "happy era", when she keeps saying that "Im not insecure anymore, I love my fans and I was born this way" and then it turns out that she was lying? Come on... Like I said: She seemed quite confident with Born This Way and throughout the whole era, yet she later said in 2013 she wasn't in a happy place during that time. She fooled me, tbh. Clearly, in 2011 when BTW dropped she expressed how she was happier than ever to be releasing an album like that and how she felt it was the album of the decade, etc. Skip two years later, she clearly said she wasn't happy with herself during those days. My point was obviously she's going to lie. If she was to say something negative about her current album/singles, do you think fans would find that alright? No. My point was: as a musician, you're here to sell your product, which is music. So obviously you're going to say whatever you feel is necessary to sell it. I've been here for that girl since the beginning. Clearly I know when she's being genuine and when she isn't. Obviously she is not being truthful, especially with these letters addressing all the madness as of late. Not justifying her lies whatsoever. But that's what people do when they want to sell things. I don't rly care for her being so lovely and cute and close with her fans, I just want this lady gaga experience to feel real, I'm waiting for "stop the drama, start the music" to happen since Feb. 2011, when BTW came out. But depression comes and goes for many people. I'm SURE that having so-called "poor sales" was not good for her esteem. Also a lot of fans were unhappy with ARTPOP so that must have brought her down as well. If I were in her place, I wouldn't exactly be uplifted and happy.She also could have been upset with herself for making the decision from changing the second single from Venus to DWUW. I'm sure she was pressured, but it was ultimately her decision. She probably just regrets it and feels like she screwed everything up. It has one of the best choruses in Gagas career (if not the best), amazing production ( why did she involve infected mushroom, just to record album track?) and wide imaginery potential. When it leaked everybody loved it, there were topics here like 'Did Aura top Bad Romance?' Etc. and now you try to say that because of verse change (like 15sec of song, because second verse sounds the same) the song is bad? It's just nonsense, even media in my country (which are sooo bitter) said good words about the song, when it premiered on VEVO. I think Aura is the best for single because it's big, monumental, lil shocking and memorable, no other ARTPOP song is as unique, except Venus. Come on... You seem really suspicious of everything she says these days Kermit, has Gaga really ever lied about anything that's caused major issues? Idk I think her lying about being happy or not being insecure is sad, but it doesn't make me distrust her because she can't exactly be promoting her work whilst at the same time saying "I'm really not happy because of what's going on". Just like I think she shouldn't tell us this much about what's happening behind the scenes, just as much I don't like how she makes it so apparent that she can't take much criticism. But cause it's her own problem and we can't really do anything about that, then I, for example, just choose to not let these things bother me that much. It did at first, of course, because I freaking love the woman and want all the best for her, but in reality there's really nothing we can do about how she is feeling or behaving, so I'm just waiting for her to get her self-confidence and F***You attitude back and be back in the game. I may feel sad about a relationship and excited for an achievement, so I feel both things at the same time.
