Atlas 1 Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Hmm. To me, the worst is Fashion! I never saw it's potential, it's more of a filler. The best is G.U.Y (Touch Me, Touch Me), Aura (Damn! That chorus!), and Gypsy. I don't know what the hate on J&D is. The only flaw I see is the uneven flow from Twista's verse to the hook. I understand what Gaga was trying to do with the song, but the lyrics are just not for me. Also I think this song has the weakest chorus on the album. I do like the instrumental though. And for the most part I do enjoy the song. But I do think is the worst on the album and my least favorite. This is pretty much how I feel. Everyone is usually saying how much they praise Donatella and hate Swine/J&D/Fashion! but I think that Donatella is the weakest. What the others lose in lyrics, they gain in the instrumentals. My friend who is a casual listener of Gaga when she's on the radio (the very definition of the GP), actually went out of her way to randomly mention the last time we hung out how much she likes Venus after she happened to be flipping through channels and saw it performed on Grahm Norton. Oh, and the bridge is probably the best part. It's fun, silly, stupid, and captivating all at the same time. I honestly think it has potential to be a hit. People need to know the musical direction of where Gaga is right now, and we need something big to change up the radio. The instrumentals are superb and that alone could win lots of people over.
