WORST is too harsh.

All of Gaga's albums were fantastic imo.

But yes, if I had to start ranking them, The Fame was the least good.

YET TF sh!ts on Katy's and Rihanna's discographies.. :toofunny:

I love Aura! One of my favorite songs on ARTPOP <3

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

I know! It´s such an awesome and lovely song!

I prefer the studio version vocals. Who cares if the 15 seconds are a bit different than before in the demo? I absolutely not.  :legend:  :worship2:

Money Honey: This was always my highlight of The Fame, and I think this would have been majorly successful.

Paper Gangsta: This was one of the last songs I heard from The Fame, but it remains one of my favorites. I think releasing this in place of Paparazzi would have been a smart decision.

So Happy I Could Die: This is the best song on TFM bar none. I've never heard any hate on this song and think this would've slain the radio.

Swine: The EDM production fits right in with current radio hits.

Fashion!: Call me crazy, but I think the GP would appreciate the Disco-funk vibe of this song.

I'm just gonna say it....it doesn't matter if the GP "likes" the song. It matters if it STICKS WITH THEM. Alot of people didn't "like" Poker Face.....it was just catchy and different and stuck out like a sore thumb. That is why pop songs become hits. There are two songs that will DEF be singles:

-Venus

-Gypsy

(You can count on that, they were featured on the album cover sticker)

And I wouldn't be surprised if

-Donatella

-Swine

still became singles.

I think us trying to cater to the mainstream has been the downfall. Saying what we think the mainstream will react to doesn't normally mean they will react. Surprisingly, (and it shouldn't be a surprise) people like Gaga for her strange music, not for her typical pop stuff. It's what she built her brand on. The GP is underwhelmed by "Applause" and even more "DWUW" bc they aren't really that strange.

If Gaga actually puts out the strangest, most controversial tracks I think people will like them more.

Swine is a total ****fest and will at least get major club play.

Donatella is, IMO, the catchiest damn song on the album, and incredibly different than what Gaga has done before bc even though we know it is satire it comes off camp and cocky.

Venus is super catchy, spacy, and groovy, and Gaga can brag that she produced it herself (and Gaga needs something to brag about right now that sets her apart....what other pop star is PRODUCING their own music???)

And Gypsy is your feel good, yet still kind of weird idea song off the album that will cater to teens and moms alike yet still make every gay man from WeHo to SoHo jizz his undies.

just saying.  :ohwell:

Because Monsters want something to b---h about.

I hope it is released as a single and smashes and then all those Monsters that are all "oh em gee no 4 veenus 2 be tha thurd syngle ugh veenus no GUY GUY GUY veenus wood flop artflop artflop" and all that bull**** would feel stupid :classy: of course, they'd be bandwagoners and start to stan for Venus and praise Gaga for choosing Venus and then it would be all "Smart move, Gaga, good job Interscope"

My beef with Venus is the verses and the bridge... which is like 50% of the song. wtf is she even saying in the verses? They say nothing. The bridge is pretty much the same. Like, yeah, thanks for calling out the planets for us, Lady Gaga. Riveting. And I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. I don't even think the hooks are good enough to make up for that. lol

On the other hand, idk... I like Venus... but it's a stan-acquired taste.

Like what so many people said upon ARTPOP's release... "If you're a Lady Gaga fan, you'll enjoy it. If you're not, well it's the same Lady Gaga we've been getting for the past 5 years." In my opinion, Venus is the biggest representation of that sentiment.

I completely agree with this. I've always had a love-hate relationship with the song and didn't really know why, but this explains it perfectly. I mostly listen to the song for the chorus, I think, and then try to repress shuddering whilst listening to the rest of it. For that reason, I think it'd be a great song to remix, though!
