Disregard

If it was Interscope's decision to go with DWUW rather than Venus then it's because they know better than Gaga who was about trip over herself by releasing a song that was never going to go anywhere. Regardless of the fact that DWUW has yet to blow up, it's still doing respectable for a song that has no video. Show me another song with 75 million AI and no visual. AND, if they are the reason for the video delay, it's probably for a good reason. It's very likely that the video is a disaster, what with being directed by the hack Terry and featuring R. Kelly. AND Applause and DWUW are apparently still pushing units since the album is consistently selling over 100k per week WW since it's release. Show me another album doing that with a nearly 5 month old single/video and basically nothing else besides decent airplay for a song that has a lot of things going against it.

Also, online petitions are worthless.

I don't understand why some people want her to leave Interscope... Thanks to Interscope we know her, we had amazing things like TF/TFM/BTW/AP because they believed in Gaga, and they invested money in her shows, her outfits, her music videos, in everything.

They know the music industry better than us, and better than Gaga. that's why they want, at least, to have some control over her. Without Interscope I doubt the half of us would still be here (me included? I dunno) because they helped her a lot through the eras. Now if they want songs that would appeal to a lot of people as singles, where is the problem? The money she earns is then used for the tour, the outfits, the music videos, etc...

Btw, TFM was the best compromise imo. There was artistry and huge success, and she took many risks. I mean, a song with lyrics like "Rara Oulala" as a first single, nobody would try. Same case the Alejandro mv, it was risky as hell...

It's just my opinion, don't bash me :emma:

Nothing is obvious in this whole story, tbh. I'm sure there is a lot we don't know about.

Exactly. Unless Gaga herself straight out says "this is not what I wanted. Interscope is not letting me have a say," then we don't know much at all.

I don't think it would do anything.
Gaga's and Ke$ha's cases are completely different, in the current industry Gaga has a lot of freedom, trust me.

Plus, we should find out what is truly happening before doing anything.

No Angel

We have literally no information regarding Gaga's relationship with Interscope as of now. Overreacting at it's finest.

Why does Gaga have to be on top though? Interscope, her (certain) fans, and her need to realize this, although she probably already has. She's comfortable but her (certain) fans and label are not.

Where are these people talking about this alleged abortion like it is a known fact? I can't see 'em.

I really feel like this is a non-issue hereeeeee.

fans attempted to petition Dr. Luke to "free her"...and he has lead to her going into rehab (confirmed by Kesha)

Reciepts please?

P.s. we don't know for sure that the LM chat thing is Interscope related

Princess Die

Uh no. DWUW was HER choice for a second single. And Interscope is pretty much her best bet when it comes to artistic freedom.

Nod if you wanna make love with the enemy. ❤

She did say she was literally in the hospital that day, so the hospital isn't a metaphor. As to what she was there for, we have no idea.

Yeah.. And it is an interesting point. It brings up a lot of questions..

Is the problem that Gaga was okay with being collaborative in the beginning because she wanted to be commercially succesful.. now she just wants to do her own thing? Yeah.. a lot of her things weren't necessarily 'safe'.

Did she have a **** deal in the beginning/ how controlled was she? Did she hate the set up?
