She'd probably buy out her contract for the sake of her independent not-give-a-sh** attitude if she really wanted to In the case that Interscope won, which they probably would, it would cost her a tremendous amount of money- in addition to buying out her contract. Then there would be the bad press and the fact that this lawsuit would take YEARS! A lawsuit is a mentally exhausting process. This lawsuit would still be going on, long after the time it would have taken just to fulfill her contact of two more albums. Why in the world would anyone want to go through years of stress, and pay out tens of millions of dollars (that she considers her families money and that she could do so much good with) with a huge publicized lawsuit hanging over their heads, ESPECIALLY when they are happy with a situation? I think her fans need to realize what she is going through happens with every artist. No one is ever at the top all of the time. Every artists' fame levels out eventually, and there's nothing wrong with that. As long as she can keep consistent public interest, a core fanbase, and solid demand for her tours, the rest of her career looks very promising. Thanks. Personally, I think with the way the media reports on chart performance, and the way this information is used by fan bases to gain superiority over one another - people now take on the assumption that the artist who charts the highest is the best.. and it's so untrue. Born This Way was huge. The worst thing that happened during the BTW era was that she couldn't complete the tour due to her injury. Her career is fine. She's established herself as a prominent figure in her industry. I'd love for her singles to shoot straight up to #1... will it make her more talented though if this happens? No. Will it heighten the quality of her music? No. She needs to hire a graphic designer I'm laughing because it's so true. The poster for the ARTPOP tour... Not everyone can be #1 for their entire lives. People get bored and new artists come along. She's still one of the biggest artists out there and probably always will be... TF and TFM have just better quality of sound. They still sound fresh, while large chunk of BTW/AP sound dated. BTW/AP music is heavy and not easy to listen for casual gaga listener. TF/TFM were fun, easy to enjoy and full of infectious rhythm. I agree with the second line. The first line I don't understand. A few tracks were outstanding and would have been samsh hits on her other records but! a lot of the tracks were mediocre at best and were no where near the quality she should be releasing judging by her previous work. Also even if half the tracks were fillers, considering that albums like Prism did that well I don't think its an excuse. Exactly. I think people are projecting their own feelings of the album onto the GP who, quite frankly, wouldn't know if it's good or not because... a lot of them haven't heard it yet.
