Haus 152 Posted January 27, 2014 Share Posted January 27, 2014 Have you ever thought some of you might actually NEED mothering advice, teaching, general improvement, learning, growing, expanding your minds to newer concepts? this is why she does it. 85% of the people on this forum are under 18. Making them basically a bunch of big kids. Gaga is approaching 28. She's older and seen much more than a lot of us have. Giving us advice (ok, I know she's not our mom, but she dubbed herself that out of some necessity) is beneficial to US, not to her. Who really cares. Grow from what she says, or don't. No one is obligated. But why does she feel like she's the one who needs to do it? Things were so much better back in the TFM-BTW eras before all of this online bullying crap took control of her social presence. She was still relatable and still inspired us to keep going on without her constantly reminding us to be nice to each other and monitoring Twitter. It's so unnecessary and over the top. It isn't that we don't appreciate her fight against bullying, she just spends way too much time on it and way too little time on her actual career. I mean, her own fans complain that everyone thinks of our fanbase as a bunch of nasty and crazy people who keep bullying others, but when she tries to create a nicer environment within her fanbase, people think that she has a goddess complex and that she's trying to control us. How are we supposed to like an ARTIST who spends 90% of the time preaching instead of actually promoting her music or doing anything Don't act like it's always been that way... back in 2010/2011, there wasn't a day without having Gaga being talked about everywhere. Did you REALLY think that would last forever? Most artists don't have that much omnipresence anyway. You need to learn to appreciate the things you have, instead of whining over the things you don't have. And if you're unable to do this, then question yourself, maybe your obsession with Gaga is a bit unhealthy and you should try stanning for other artists. Ya know, they protested the Monster Ball when it was here in Oklahoma City. I shot them 2 birds. Look, I'm not a Christian...I have my own beliefs. I'm a follower of Christ and I think there IS a huge difference. These people are lazy Old Testament satanists and they don't even know it. I've been in many altercations with them in public and online. They hate me and the feeling is mutual. I remember it was news the day of TMB here and when we got to the arena the news crews were already filming. The WBC were shouting at us. Fast forward to the middle of the concert, Gaga said "There's people outside that don't want us to love. Oklahoma City!!!! Scream for ME. Scream for YOU. Scream for Jesus! Scream for LOVE!" Homies, the building literally SHOOK!!!!! We screamed our lungs out and I hope they heard it!!!! ;) Lol my thoughts exactly Because the young people in that cult actually like her and other popular music. How can they turn all the popular songs into crazy Christian hymns if they don't know them?! The old crazies that run the joint think it's cute to do parodies of what's popular but all they are doing is letting their young followers listen to the stuff they say is evil. It's an oxymoron.
