Andy McQueen 4,484 Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Because Gaga always was a huge fan of her and praised Madonna (she even wrote a thanknote towards her in "The Fame" booklet), and Madonna shaded her instead - it's just rude and terrible when your legends and idols are not what you thought they would be and are hating on you. Omegahedron 235 Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Why hasn't Gaga made peace with Madonna the way she did with Sharon, I mean Sharon and her daughter were wayyy much meaner and bullies than Madonna, and Gaga still went and tried to make things better.. Madonna invited her to perform, she could oof said yes, and put BTW/Express yourself comparasions to the rest, people would see them as friends.. She didn't have to shade her on SNL (it was funny tho ) and she could of make less violent comments on Howard (aka: i don't want your fu*king throne) so why didn't she handle the situation with the same class and elegance than Sharon Osbourne Because Madonna has been SO mean to Gaga. Really very horrible. It would be hard for Gaga to reach out when any peace offering would be slapped back in her face. Make no mistake, the offering for Gaga and Madonna to perform together was almost a goading tactic. Madonna had no intention of performing and if they did it would have been some humiliating mash up of BTW and Express Yourself. I think probably the reason Madonna reacted so badly to Gaga coming on the scene was because the press used Gaga as a way to criticise Madonna as stale and without a career (which isn't entirely fair). It wasn't just about the fact people think they are similar - its that people were saying they were similar and that Gaga was better. Got to be hard for anyone to stomach! She hasn't ever really "fought back" against Madonna, so what exactly could she do to fix things? I mean, she wouldn't apologize, because she hasn't done anything wrong.
