Not being rude. I love Gaga but please. I think she will, absolutely. She's topped her previous album every time so far, and I think she will continue to for a while. That kind of is your opinion...the only really messy part of the album has been the extreme delay of the DWUW video after they changed the single last minute (and possibly some behind the scenes drama we don't know about). I guess you could count Applause's early leak as "messy" but that's not exactly her fault, and it still became a hit. The rest of the era has gone fairly smoothly in my opinion. Some people here have INSANE demands from her, chart-wise. It is literally impossible to be on top all the time, and that's FINE. If selling 200K+ in the first week and 2 (3 with DWUW, likely) songs on the top ten of billboard hot 100 3 months after the release of ARTPOP is "defeat" then there is literally no satisfying you. Why must people here, of all places, play in to the narrative, crafted entirely by the media, that she's failing? It's infuriating! We are not talking about the fans. There are certain songs people really like and they hope they do well and want to see that so they are eager for them to be released. Of course, no one really knows how a song will be received. If people get pissy about it, let them. We are all here for the same fundamental purpose.
