KingAlanI 3
I got ahold of a copy of Catching Fire! Rue's scenes with Katniss were the most genuinely emotional part of the movie, including Katniss' funeral ritual and the District 11 riots after Rue's death. The District 11 male was also black. Most of the other characters were white, except for a black male stylist (I noticed him being non-flamboyant more than I noticed him being black) Point or coincidence? Enjoying all the Josh appreciation in here. The two friends who I made come with me to see the film didn't think he's hot at all. Yeah, I thought that Liam/Gale would win on looks. Then again, Rito was surprised that I'm not drooling over Jen. (so, neither of us is clear on what the other side likes here. :P) Maybe Josh looks relatively better off set, especially considering that Peeta was roughed-up. Alexander/Cato was a relatively minor character, so I as a straight and a series newbie didn't think about him, he seems to be coming in second Edited March 26, 2012 by KingAlanI

Ali 0
I absolutely loved the books, and I think they did a pretty good job adapting the first one to a movie. A few changes of course, but I don't think I've ever seen a movie that followed the original book 100%. Plus Jennifer Lawrence... :heat: I totally dressed up like Katniss when I went to see the movie too. She's such a badass.

KingAlanI 3
I saw it last night and it was so good! Stanley Tucci was amazing. :worship2: Yeah, Caesar Flickerman was a pretty likable character, all things considered. KingAlanI 3
Jennifer Lawrence... :heat: I totally dressed up like Katniss when I went to see the movie too. She's such a badass. I like her in other ways, but am I the only one who doesn't see her like that? Is the actress/character more appealing to females and/or homos-xuals or something?
