ToxicHot 6,438
I loved the scene where she was stung from the Tracker Jacker and she was walking around hallucinating. It was cool! It made me feel like I was high when I was watching that scene (I really was tho jk). But anyway, it was one of my fave scenes. dOnT sAd ReAcT mE 2 bE sHaDy i WiLL RePoRt U!!1! DEATH IS UPON ME I think it was inevitable that they cut so much out. The movie can only go for so long. I wasn't too disappointed. The only thing I would have loved is, if the whole movie had Katniss' thoughts in dialogue.

Parka 1
I got bored tbh :/ we both didn't finish it... but whatever. I'll read it before the movie comes out for sure :P But the best part of Mockingjay comes at the end Tbh, I liked Catching Fire and Mockingjay a lot better than Hunger Games. Those two books felt a lot more suspenseful. And I really liked reading about Panem outside of just the Games. And they had more political subtext. Which I love OMG! So if you look at both Hunger Games and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Pt. 2...and looks just at their opening day grosses WITHOUT the midnight premieres, THG actually made more Which makes sense, since HP2 was released in the summer, and thus more people were able to go to the midnight premier instead of THG, which was released during a time when a lot of the core target base couldn't go to the midnight premiers due to having school the following day. Everything is explained right nyah: http://boxofficemojo.com/news/?id=3400&p=.htm Edited March 25, 2012 by Parka

Btrs 10
I've read all three books at least three/four times now, and honestly I think the first book was the best. It captured me so intensely unlike the two others. They felt so rushed, especially the last book. I'd have to order them like this: The Hunger Games > Mockingjay > Catching Fire Although, if the film adaption of Catching Fire stays closely to the book's plot, you all are in for an amazing and shocking ending! It will leave you all on the edge of your seats, I can bet on it! Really? I thought they were both very good casting decisions! Especially with Katniss's mum, she looked so weak and vulnerable. excuse the Voldermort reference there. :haha: Definitely. Far too much comedy, it exceeded past the sick and twisted humour that the books delivered so well, and just became a family kids movie. Catching Fire was great imo. The best in the series :giggle:

I mean- how ****ing crazy for her to go into the arena after that. Which is the point. The shock and awe of the last two books were flawless I don't really remember Finnick's death though :duhga: Was it during the Capitol raid?
