Parka 1
Is it true that the movie doesn't explain well enough what the significance of the mockingjay is? :fat:

Sabine 0
Is it true that the movie doesn't explain well enough what the significance of the mockingjay is? Unfortunately, yes. I also don't really like the fact that Katniss gets the pin from Greasy Sae and gives it to Prim, who later gives it back to Katniss. I understand that they didn't want to introduce Madge, but I wish they did. :( But yeah, it's kinda impossible to show everything from the books... Haus 152
It already broke a record! It earned $19.7 million across the US from midnight showings alone, making it the highest midnight premiere grossing non-sequel movie ever, and the seventh highest midnight premiere grossing movie ever :legend: :legend:

Ceremonials 0
The ceremony outfits and the fire dress were pretty underwhelming IMO.
Sabine 0
The ceremony outfits and the fire dress were pretty underwhelming IMO. I agree, I expected Katniss' parade outfit to look more like this: And not this: The fire just looks kinda weird. I also wanted to see more of the other Tributes' outfits :fat:

Rito 0
Just got back from the movie and it was sososososo amazing! Especially for a book to film adaptation it was just about flawless. The only part I didn't really care for like Ceremonials said was the fire dress and tribute parade fire outfits. The CGI flames kind of sucked. That was such a small part of the movie, so I still give it a 10/10. Flawless. Ugh. Going to see it again next week definitely!

Pookie 5
Saw it last night, agree that it felt rushed but still loved it. There were an annoying group of teens at my screening who shrieked when anything remotely good was going to happen and completely ruined the moment so I wrote a complaint to the cinema and they're sending me a free pair of tickets :D Also why can't I find a decent mockingjay pin anywhere? I need to own one /nerd. Edited March 23, 2012 by Pookie
