Salander 1
I thought most of the last one was good until the last 3 chapters maybe and I think for me the first book I enjoyed the most I thought the arena in that one was just so much more exciting than the others. Haus 152
The Catching Fire book was HORRIBLE. It was so ****ing boring, then in chapter 20 the Quarter Quell starts? Uhh what? Catching Fire was the best book in the series. It kept me up until 6am because it was so exciting and I had to finish it :wtf:

Swim Deep 0
I saw the movie tonight. It was good but I'm really disappointed with how much they cut out . I mean, it's beyond ambiguous. e.g. The food pyramid was made to look stupid and random in the movie. They didn't mention that the careers had no survival skills so they needed the food to live on and therefore taking it out weakened them. There was no reason for it in the movie. My friend who hadn't read the book thought that part was random as ****. I have plenty more complaints too!

I didnt read the book... but i told my friend to expect cuts and lower her expecttions to not be disapointed Seriously, this is the case almost every time... Its next to impossible to do an exact copy of the book. Details will be left out, some things may be added, others changed... This is the case almost every-time... I dont get why ppl still get disapointed over it, its to be expected. Anyway i didnt read the book, so stuff like that didnt bother me... I remember when the Series of Unfortunate events movie came out, I was so disapointed cause i expected it to be just like the book. But it never is, i would of enjoyed it more if i had eccepted that from the beggining... PS: The hunger games movie was done better than the Series OF Unfortunate Events Edited March 25, 2012 by Jesse
Smoky 0
I just got home after watching it I am completely satisfied with it, minus some bad camerawork in the arena and not keeping good track of how many tributes were left / the names of the tributes. PS: The hunger games movie was done better than the Series OF Unfortunate Events Dear god, I think SoUE was freakin murdered.

PS: The hunger games movie was done better than the Series OF Unfortunate Events I expected things to be cut out but a lot of what they cut out was fundamental stuff that when gone makes the rest of the movie look shallow. Take the whole fake relationship thing. They cut the ending train scene so when non-readers watch the movie, they just see a shallow love story, not a faked relationship purposely looking shallow because it is faked and unemotional. Again, my friend thought that they were actually together in the movie... Same feelings here. Look at the positives though, and you will realize how epic the movie is. The movie was good. I really liked the little commentaries to give insight into the background and the flawless cast [excluding Katniss' mum and Cato. They were both awful] Edited March 25, 2012 by Major Minus

Again, my friend thought that they were actually together in the movie... It was necessary because a) The movie would be approaching 3-hour territory if they had done the ending at a slower pace and b) Throwing in a curve ball at the end of a packed movie wouldn't make sense when you have a whole sequel to talk about that curve ball. They'll put a scene like that at the beginning Catching Fire.
LadyLemon 0
I've read all three books at least three/four times now, and honestly I think the first book was the best. It captured me so intensely unlike the two others. They felt so rushed, especially the last book. I'd have to order them like this: The Hunger Games > Mockingjay > Catching Fire Although, if the film adaption of Catching Fire stays closely to the book's plot, you all are in for an amazing and shocking ending! It will leave you all on the edge of your seats, I can bet on it! The movie was good. I really liked the little commentaries to give insight into the background and the flawless cast [excluding Katniss' mum and Cato. They were both awful] Really? I thought they were both very good casting decisions! Especially with Katniss's mum, she looked so weak and vulnerable. excuse the Voldermort reference there. :haha: PS: The hunger games movie was done better than the Series OF Unfortunate Events Definitely. Far too much comedy, it exceeded past the sick and twisted humour that the books delivered so well, and just became a family kids movie. :noparty:

Again, my friend thought that they were actually together in the movie... Really? well so did i. But does that really matter if we thought that they were together? it works fine with the story, i dont think it changes the plot that much. Fans just think every detail is "fundamental" The movies always have things about it that are different from the book, and fans of the book will never like it but its to be expected. Stop complaining and eccept that its just the way it is... What u said really didnt matter. Readers will perceive it as a fake relationship because they relate to the book. For non-readers the impression is that they got together, but it still works fine either way... It just bugs u because u know in the book its suppostu be fake, but it works fine with the story
