But there wasn't a whole lot of hype going on over her new stuff. Don't even kid. You wanna worship your fallen queen, that's fine. But don't build her up to be anything more than what she is. There's nothing redeeming about her at all. She's cruel to her fans, she's cruel to other celebrities, she's cruel to her own people and she isn't even talented enough to act the way she does. Madonna is Madonna and she's paved way for many artist male or female. Just like GaGa said about being a waitress, Madonna worked odd jobs to get to where she's at now.. If anything compare how GaGa has that same drive to succeed and be who she is today as Madonna did when starting out. This. Well said. Her work speaks for itself. She shouldn't have to defend herself or anything, because she actually doesn't copy Madonna at all, nor is their music similar. I think the only similar thing about them is that they both like to really entertain their audience and have both had a real significant impact on Pop Culture; and Madonna didn't invent that, that's something that's become associated with music and entertaining over time. Anyhow, it's a huge compliment to Gaga if people see Madonna in her; Madonna's a legend. And it's a huge compliment to Madonna if people can see her in other younger artists - it means she's done good things for Pop music by being herself. The media just chooses to portray all this in the worst way possible. Also. I don't see them trashing Madonna for the way she talks about Gaga during her shows/during interviews. Two strong, ballsy Italian girls who want to make well done pop music while constantly reinventing their looks/messages on each album. You know nothing about Madonna! Go and listen to her 13 albums, 60+ videos, 9 world tours..... She WAS and IS the best in the business! Sigh, I don't mean to offend, its just my opinion. I would rather drink bleach than submit myself to 60+ madonna videos. It's just not for me. Can't deny her impact and influence, I just don't care for her/the music.
