DanceInTheFlames 154 Posted October 27, 2013 Share Posted October 27, 2013 Unfortunately Katy Perrys performance was much, much much better than Gaga hers :( Katys voice is not the best.. but it was a secure performance at least Gaga can sing better than Katy but this performance was not well thought out think she tried to learn quickly how to play guitar yesterday and hope something like modern dance/ character dance for DWUW would work for itself.. but it didn't No hate or disrespect to Katy (or you), but this performance was MUCH stronger than Katy's. I LOVE Do What U Want to death, and I think it is a great radio song, but without R Kelly on stage in performances, it's not as strong. Had he walked out from behind the screen and begun singing his bit, this would have been a KILLER performance. The intro - Great! Venus - INCREDIBLE, she looked SO happy! Do What U Want - Very good until she sits at the piano, it was unnecessary Acapella ending - GENIUS I know the seashells fell apart, but I feel like she was going to take them off anyway when DWUW came on. I like the minimal clothing, but pray for more outlandish clothing next big performance. If we're going to talk about the "piano part", first let's talk about the "guitar part".
