Guest
Why does she put up with accounts on Twitter if they are vile to her? Block them. She probably loves the fans that she meets, since they usually love her and practically worship her, whereas she gets a completely different experience online. I wonder if people would have the nerve to say such things to her face.I suppose that there are fans that cannot attend any Gaga concert or meet her in any other way. It could be her way of being there for those who, for various reasons, cannot embrace her art outside of the internet. Furthermore it is everything but easy to block the negativity on the internet. Especially if you are the biggest pop star and a trailblazer of digital music.
DSK 568
Brutal and vile words on Twitter... that's the death of art. You MFers can stop this bullshiz right now. Thanks.
Aguinaga09 1
That's why I hate twitter. But I'm glad she's happy :) I'm really excited for this song!

So fans who are unable to meet her or see her in concert, take it out on her by being vicious and brutal with their little Twitter accounts? They must have sad lives to be doing such things with their time. I was talking about how she cannot stop checking Twitter. She's interacting with fans from all over the world. She will see the devastating negativity and non-constructive criticism one way or another.
Ambrosia 3,775
I'm just glad she said she's pure, clear, and happy and that she let go of the darkness. That's what music and art is supposed to do for us. As for Twitter, I'm beginning to think it stinks. It's a mechanism for being nasty and belittling, and who needs that? Much like the Internet, another anonymous way to be vicious and hurt people. Being involved with things you enjoy, creates a colorful mosaic for your soul, then turning around and hearing or reading disgusting things about yourself or others, starts to chip, chip away at that mosaic. Do away with bad. Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates

OMG I remember when she was injured few months back, Few twitter fans actually lashed out at her and blaming her for the rest of US tour cancellation!! And I even still remember there was a thread by member here (I think banned atm?) who posted the same bollocks. Nevertheless it's absolutely rude and wrong to attack her. Those people are disgusting and don't deserve her attention nor do they deserve having the opportunity to contact her. badgalriri 1,124
When I saw her at the very beginning of this era at GMA wearing that white paper dress and looking SO happy - I just knew she had cleansed herself in some way. Not necessarily d--g-related but just letting go of certain negative things. It was so refreshing and wonderufl. tbh i agree with this too. The past 3 eras have been so dark (even look at the album covers and music videos) Everything has a dark aspect or something sinister about it. Like i thought BTW was a happy era when it was announced but then it was plagued with black and white single covers and that atrocious album cover. This era has been full of color and light...she's letting the light in. should have called it PRISM
